Waiting for Minecraft Dawn

September 12, 2020

…and here we see our intrepid Minecraft adventurer keeping active while waiting for the sun to come up in the Minecraft game. Cue the waiting theme song!

We just missed Chloe’s Grand Battle of the Llamas! She is on an epic quest —— for pants! To make pants she needs leather. Let’s see what happens, shall we?

Will she get pants? Or will she run around without pants? Watch and see!

Swimming at Hagg Lake

August 13, 2020

Yesterday we went swimming at Hagg Lake, a reservoir near Forest Grove.

Chloe is not fond of sunscreen. Every time I have to show her my scar from where my melanoma was removed.

Dogs on paddleboards!

Chloe models her new life jacket.

Welcome to June 2020

June 18, 2020

It’s been an eventful month. Here’s an example of the damage one can do with a Cargo Bike:

And well, I think it would be the rare viewer of this blog who didn’t agree that non-whites shouldn’t be treated any worse than the rest of us schmoes, and perhaps the whole concept of how we do the po-lice thing should be re-thought. Here’s an example of the local graffiti about the issue:

Serious stuff over, and done with… now here we are putting together a gingerbread “tiny house” and having fun…

Sure, using our fingers to spread the red icing on the roof will work just fine! Let’s do it!

Sprinkles!!!

More sprinkles!

Ok, Bozo was asking for it.

Let’s paint for a bit an let the cops get lost in the hedges….

Sure, no clowns were killed in this sink.

In one hand pizza, in the other hand Unicorn Goo. Let’s not get them confused!

Egg dyeing time!

Here’s all the eggs decorated.

At The Park

April 7, 2020

…and frequent visitors will remember this climbing structure at Westmoreland Park. It seems to be getting smaller over time…

Open your eyes, silly pants!

…and here we on the loop trail around the wetlands in Forest Grove, a short bike ride from Chloe’s place. There’s a home that’s got a big fenced yard with various chicken-like objects that are fun to watch.
