Chloe’s been talking about the bikes she test-rode at the store for two weeks, so we went and got one!.
Presenting — Chloe’s first bike!
Ok, yes this Disney Frozen-branded bike by Huffy is indeed already too small for her. However, she really wanted this one and I didn’t want to damper her enthusiasm for learning. Also I figure she can get confident on the little bike and we can start moving her to something larger in the next few months. She’s in a good kid biking neighborhood now with lots of opportunities to practice.
We go to the Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island. It was a bit rainy out.
Perhaps Chloe found dancing in the mud the best part of the whole visit.

Bear hat, Tinker Bell costume. Ready to carve pumpkins!
Here are our pumpkins – Bailey did the outer two, Chloe carved the ones in the middle. First time carving a pumpkin, and she’s very happy with her results. I know it’s hard to see, but she carved hearts next to the scary face.
This weekend Chloe, Bailey and I made a haunted house out of home-made gingerbread!
That’s Kai, Bailey’s mom, and a good neighbor.
If you look closely you can see some mad science. Chloe created a two-headed skeleton and also swapped the heads on between a skeleton human and skeleton cat.
