Pokemón and Minecraft

April 7, 2020

Chloe loves carrying around her Minecraft “Creeper”. A “Creeper” is a critter in MineCraft that blows up when it gets close and tries to hurt you. Yet it makes a cuddly stuffy.

Here’s the Creeper hiding in the bushes.

Here’s Chloe and Lisa and the Pokemón card collection that Chloe is very proud of.

Did you know that you can take photos of the real world and put Pokemón characters in that photo? Yes you can! In the background is your friendly author, titled “Portrait of the artist as a fat old guy facing the other way and hidden behind Pokemón”.

Zarkmas 2019!

December 30, 2019

Despite our handicap of being male and nerds, we’ve managed to have children, who also seem to be happy hanging out with us.

Here we see Saskia, Miles, Chloe and the artist currently known as Penelope.

I thought it would be funny to take a picture of those peeps taking a picture.

Chloe knitted a scarf for Saskia!

Cookie Time!

November 25, 2019

Thanksgiving 2019 is just around the corner, so I figured it was time to make some cookies. Chloe decided we should make cut-outs so here we go:

Some of you out there will say, “that figures…” but as you know Dad likes to be on the cutting edge of research, including baking research. I used a slightly unusual recipe to start with and had to substitute some ingredients on the fly…

In case you forgot your glasses, this here is a highly decorated turkey…

Guess who gets frosting all over while snacking down?

Here’s most of our delicious output.

Thanks for watching!
