More Bump
Here’s some more baby bump for you. I used Swankolab to make the photo look like photos of our parents taken in the early 70’s.
Everything’s going fine. Our baby packs quite a kick. You can really feel her go!

This is what Lisa looked like this morning before she left for work.
We’ve got a Baby Bump going on!
This evening though, she started having pains. It looks like it may be kidney stones. We don’t know exactly what’s wrong, but we do know that the baby is 100% just fine and in no danger.
The little girl is growing nicely and is very active in there. We may have a soccer star on the way.
Important Books for Kids
Baby’s going to have to learn to read. With today’s Internet, the kid will probably know how to send text messages before she knows how to talk.
Possibly with the help of the fine, oh so fine books displayed on this blog. Lots of crazy examples of kid’s books, from Andy Warhol, to Umberto Eco, to Uncle Drinki, to weird animals, it’s interesting stuff.

The Ultrasound sees all, it knows all… According to the ultrasound, we’ve got the right number of fingers and toes, everything’s normal and lookin’ good!

Good news today! We’ve run the kid through a bunch of test to screen for Downs Syndrome and a couple other unfortunate issues, and indications are that chances are only 1 out of 10,000 that the little critter will suffer from them.

To keep us entertained while we wait for the life of the party to arrive we’re collecting terrible, horrible completely frightening names we would never, ever consider saddling the poor munchkin with. “A Boy Named Sue”…? That’s weak tea. “A Boy Named Princess Butterfly” Sing that one, Mr. Cash!

Howdy there – new ultrasounds of the munchkin. The little person was very active this checkup — bouncing all over the place! Even though s/he’s only a couple inches long Lisa’s pretty sure she can feel this activity sometimes, and it’s no surprise when you see all that jumping around. So far, all the stats — size, heartbeat — are right on what they expect. Keep those fingers crossed!
